Edwina Lawrie was born in Lennoxtown, Stirlingshire, and grew up in Dennistoun, Glasgow. Her sister is international singer/actress Lulu.

She released two singles, Bye Bye Love in 1983 and Dark Glasses in 1984.

Dark Glasses was written by Nik Kershaw and produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. It sadly did not chart.
