Bio

Mint Juleps were an all-woman A Cappella and pop group who recorded and toured in the 1980's and 1990's both as themselves, or as backing to major acts. An appearance on the 1990 PBS program Spike & Co. Do It A Cappella brought them a new level of popularity. The group was comprised of four sisters- Debbie, Sandra, Lizzie and Marcia Charles along with friends Debbie Longworth and Julie Isaac. The song, Best Of Both Worlds was written by Robert Palmer who released it as a single in 1978. Mint Juleps recorded their version with Stock Aitken Waterman in 1987 and it was released as the B side (on some formats) to their 1987 single Every kinda People.
